Your Fittings:

First Fitting

  • Please bring your gown, shoes, bra, and undergarments!
  • Meet with your seamstress to discuss the alterations you would like done
  • Your seamstress will explain all alteration fees and ask for 50% payment
    • Please note we do not accept credit cards 

Second Fitting/Take Home Appointment

  • Try on finished gown to verify all of the sewing is completed as requested
    • There is always the possibility of having a 3rd fitting if any additional alterations are needed
  • Your seamstress will go over how to bustle the train of your bridal gown, so please bring someone who will be available to help you on your wedding day
  • Take your gown home and enjoy your event!


Please note:  If there are any fluctuations in measurements during the alterations process and additional work is needed, the client is responsible for the charges for that work.

mPrice Estimates:

Costs vary with the complexity of garment construction, but see below for our alterations price estimates. A typical bridal gown needing a hem, bustle, and bodice work usually ranges between $500-$700. 

​If you would like to meet in person for an estimate on alteration costs, a consultation fee may apply. 

Bridal Gown Alterations:

An average gown requires 5-12 bustle points, so please expect

                     $50-100 for train bustles
